Executive
Use of the Internet Increases Worldwide - Highest in US and Canada

According to recent research from Andersen Consulting, Canadian and US executives
are the most connected to the Web, with 90% of executives accessing the Internet at least
once a week. Nearly two-thirds (65%) of senior
executives in the US shop online, followed by 48% of Canadian executives and 39% of
Australian Executives. The lowest percentage of executives that shop online were found in
Japan (13%) and Italy (26%).
In nearly every country surveyed, with the exception of
Germany, Internet access by senior executives has increased from 1998 levels.
